HTC brings on new line-up to beef up sales

HTC announced that they will be making adjustments to their key management to better improve the ever growing smart phone industry. It was noted that changes will include adding on new hires and promotions to help increase business.

Focusing on strategy and technology development is Ron Louks who is new chief strategy officer. Louks will be working closely with HTC’s engineer and operations groups. With addition to Louks, Kouji Kodera will be the new chief producer officer. Kodera will be responsible for HTC’s global product portfolio planning and management. Louks and Kodera were both formally at Sony Ericsson, Louks chief technology officer and Kodera head of productions.

Amongst the new comers, there has also been promotion for former vice president of product development. David Chen has been promoted to chief engineering officer who was amongst the first employees of HTC back in 1997. Chen was a key part in making the drive to the industries first innovative smartphones with HTC.

So what does this mean, together one can expect Chen and Kordea to be working strongly with the chief innovation officer, Horace Luke and John Wang, chief marketing officer. Combined these men will work on beefing up the companies line of products world wide.
