Read This: Using Strong Calls to Action on Your Website

What is a Call to Action?

A Call to Action (CTA) incites website visitors to take immediate action in some way.

A CTA can be used in the form of a banner, a button, other type of graphic, or text on a website. It contains a strong verb and commands the website visitor to do something, such as “Call Now”, “Download This” or “Visit Today.”

Why do you need CTAs?

CTAs are the best way to increase conversion on a website. Believe it or not, website visitors don’t realize there is a “next step” they should take. In a past authenticACTION, we discussed the importance of knowing what you want your website visitors to do on your website.

By using strong CTAs, website visitors are not only told what to do next but encouraged to complete the action.
