Evaluation of Your Business

At your first meeting, our business consultant will ask some questions. Actually, a lot of questions. Marketing is the purpose of any business. You need to create a market for your service. Everything you do is marketing in some shape or form, so we need to know about all of your efforts.

If you are a small business, your website is the most important thing to you. Done correctly, potential clients see more of it than every other part of what you do. It is an immense opportunity. We need to know as much about your business as we can so we can make sure the opportunity lines up with where you are, what you are doing, and where you want to go.

Nothing is worse than meeting with a marketing person who gives you “solutions” without knowing anything about your business. You can’t solve anything if you don’t know the problem. Sometimes, the problem is just: “How do we make it better?” No matter what the problem is, we must find out your business goals.

As a professional and a small business owner, you are inextricably personally tied to your business. The separation between business and personal life for someone offering a service is none, because you ARE the business.

We also want to learn more about your “unique value proposition.” If you think you don’t have one, don’t worry — you do. You just don’t know it yet. We just want to dip our toes into the “UVP” here, as our entire process is made to define it.

Budget

We are also going to discuss budget.  We want to create the optimal web presence for you within your budget.  We can create a total or a monthly budget. When we combine a comfortable budget with your goals, we can create a great plan.
