Our team is proud to announce the launch of our latest personal injury website for New York based personal injury firm, The Orlow Firm. Founded in 1981 and touting more than 75 years of combined legal experience, The Orlow Firm shares many of the same philosophies that we do at authenticWEB making this a great project for us! Their respect for their clients, responsiveness to their needs, and their vigorous representation needed to be conveyed to through the firm’s site which presented a fantastic opportunity for our team.
Prior to authenticWEB, The Orlow Firm was with one of the nation’s largest and most respected lawyer web design platforms but they felt crammed into a box with every other lawyer you would find there. Instead, Mr. Orlow wanted a firm that would strive to accomplish his firm’s goals with not only fantastic web design and SEO but also inbound marketing to tap referrals and nurture leads. Having worked with Ian Garlic and authenticWEB previously, Mr. Orlow was confident that we would embrace his vision and make it a reality.
A Fully Customized WordPress Design
Although WordPress has many customizable themes available for quick websites, the team at authenticWEB took the time to carefully design and then develop a fully customized website for The Orlow Firm that would reflect their standing in the New York area and set them apart. The former platform the firm was using did not allow for such customization and did not reflect the firm’s identity – something that was very important to them. Our use of long form design, video headers, parallax, and responsiveness has already increased the time on site and conversions. Our SEO efforts, which include making the site responsive to mobile platforms, have increased traffic by 10% while page views are up 20% due to our redesign.
Knowing that our efforts would increase traffic our team also incorporated nifty navigation features into the site. authenticWEB developer Ashley Pajak said, “Users may give up if a page isn’t easily navigable so we created sticky navigation so that users wouldn’t lose their way.” This feature also stands out on mobile platforms allowing users to easily navigate the site on their devices.
As with all of our sites, The Orlow Firm’s site is responsive so that any device will view the site in a format that perfectly fits the screen. Because of this the firm’s overview video fits nicely on a mobile device providing the user with more compelling reasons to hire the firm. Also, we used a mobile friendly slider so even more content could be viewed while keeping a clean look and feel. Lastly, responsive sites maintain their backlinks with Google allowing us to focus our SEO on a single site rather than on a desktop version and a mobile version.
Our use of long form design for Mr. Orlow’s bio page presents his knowledge and expertise in an easily digestible format that pulls from advanced sales techniques and design elements to “funnel” site visitors to an action. This design style is being used by such companies as Google, Apple, Sony, and many more because of its proven effectiveness in conversion. Remember, studies have shown that you have only a few seconds to capture a viewer’s attention. The use of long form design presents information in an uncluttered format that provides compelling information quickly keeping viewers interested and engaged.
